Rebranding & VRDancing 3.0

VRDancing has been rebranded to use a new logo! Along with that a major world update has been released that includes tons of back-end optimisation, reworks and features.

The logo was designed by the talented DullDummy! The design is much cleaner than the old logo, works better when small and works nicely on clothes. It also matches the colour palette that is used in all the other VRDancing branding and the VRChat world.

The star is the new symbol of the VRDancing community its connected to us in several ways.

• In Just Dance choreographies and scoring you collect stars by dancing.

• The Fitness Marshall uses a star in a lot of his branding.

• VRDancing is an open community that gives hope to many people.

• And, of course we’re all dancing stars wow!

For the 3.0 update, Mixie spent a lot of time overhauling a lot of the back-end database systems to optimise performance. With a year of VRChat-specific Unity experience she was able to figure out new ways to make VRD run faster.

Overall performance improved, loading times decreased, download size decreased and the world project became more maintainable.
