Music Vket 4 Flashmob

VRDancing was invited by Music Vket 4 to create some form of dancing entertainment. With the success of the Christmas choreo we learnt how cool it looks to have a group of people all dance to the same choreography in VR and that it is actually possible despite technical limitations.

Thus, the staff team, lead by Chatmans, set out to teach 2 choreographies to be performed at Music Vket 4 as flashmobs.

The first choreography, created by Icemaniak, was to TFMJonny’s cover of This Love.

The second choreography, created by Chatmans, was to Odyssey Eurobeat’s Path of Desire.

The flashmobs were a success, despite all the technical hurdles and the challenges of dancing in a packed 80-person instance in VRChat. Attendees were very surprised to suddenly see so many people dancing completely in-sync in VR!

And while attendees couldn’t stand the songs anymore after a month of practice, there was still a huge sense of accomplishment for the incredible performance they had delivered.
